Description
Trail Runner was created early on in my business for a friend who wanted something fruity, refreshing, and caffeine-free. Built on a light, sweet base of lemongrass, it’s the perfect herbal tea for active days or simply enjoying a bright, flavorful cup. I often share it at events, and people love it—especially when paired with our peach or strawberry sugars.
Why the Name Matters:
This blend was named Trail Runner as a nod to refreshment and endurance. It’s energizing in its own natural, caffeine-free way, making it a great companion after activity. But you don’t need to hit the trails to enjoy it—this is a tea for anyone who loves a fruity, uplifting herbal that tastes like sunshine in a glass.
Flavor Profile:
Lemongrass creates a crisp, citrusy base that’s naturally sweet and refreshing. Juicy peaches and ripe strawberries add a burst of fruity flavor, making this blend light, playful, and perfectly balanced. It’s cheerful, hydrating, and shines on ice.
Ingredients:
Lemongrass, spearmint, lemon verbena, ginger root, dried peaches, dried strawberries, and orange peel
Loose Leaf Brewing Tips:
Add 1-1.5 Tbsp per 8 to 16oz boiling hot water and brew for at least 10 minutes. Remove steeper and sweeten with our Peach or Strawberry Sugar or Honey.
Iced Tea Brewing Tips: Use 1Tb for every 8oz of water. If you are using one of our iced tea kits add the loose leaf tea to the steeper then add hot water. Allow to brew for about 20 minutes then remove the steeper from the mason jar. While the brew is still warm, add sweetener of choice. Attach the pour spout lid and place in the refrigerator for a sweet and refreshing treat!
A Little Note:
Herbal blends require a longer steep time to allow for the proper extraction of herbal support. These blends may be re-steeped a second time.
